About

Martha Frances Williams has always been a natural storyteller with a more than meets the eye quality- A bold imagination, drive, and curiosity mixed with her southern hospitable roots.

She’s spent much of her life pouring these qualities into different artistic endeavors and discovering the curated style that is BAD MoFo Productions. A brave, unapologetic, roll with the punches, dreamy, and highly personal approach.

Originally from  North Carolina, Martha Frances made the move to Savannah College of Art and Design on a performance based scholarship where she earned her BFA. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for film and new media. Her hunger for more led her to begin working professionally in film and she finished her degree a semester early.

After college, Martha Frances moved to NYC to work with Broadway Producer, Jed Bernstein and learn everything there was to know about creation and storytelling on a larger scale. In addition to Broadway and Film, she spent four years producing digital content and new media in pharmaceutical marketing. Her experiences in both the creative and corporate worlds led to the founding of her company BAD MoFo Productions.

She is the Director of Operations for the NY International Children's Film Festival, is a member of: SAG-AFTRA, NYWIFT, and several independent organizations geared towards the creation of new work. She is a part of the Greenwich Village Film Festival team, an event curator for Her Agenda, an ACTV panelist, an advocate for artists in her borough of Queens, NY, and a supporter of minority and female driven stories exploring belonging and universal vulnerabilities.

Her work has included: working with Joana Vicente in the Executive Office of the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), Broadway shows; Driving Miss DaisyWORKINGMargaritavilleBull DurhamRoeGrace; assisting the creative development and revival of the Bucks County Playhouse, coordinating and managing various Commercial Theatre Institute workshops and courses, developing curriculum for NYU Stern and SCAD university courses, the development of several national community driven performance initiatives, films; FoundGreenerI am THEMOatmeal, Delicate RiteUp or OutPrivilege Unhinged, and Atlas of The Soul
